#Rate of return help

For some reason i just forgot how to solve rate of return and its making me very confused and id appreciate any help
purchase: 450
sale: 480
comission on sale = 6
so acc amount u take is 480-6 = 474
=> ans = 24/474 = ~5.06%
this is me assuming that we count commission in some way, i'm not sure of if there's some special finance consideration of it
@fierce wyvern sorry to bother but do you mind helping me with this one as well?
try do it yourself and talk me through it
Yeah so
30x30 == 900
1100-6 == 1094
900/1094 == 0.8 (0.8 = rounded to the nearest tenths)
i think i did something
pretty wrong
i tried to unput 0.8 but it came out as incorrect
oh wait
i do add the comission
since i am the one 'earning' the money
i think i got it, one moment
900 + 6 == 906
1100- 906 = 194
then i would put 192 over 906
and then divide
194**
which then id get
0.2...?
ðŸ˜
ah i got it all worked out
