Since we already have right triangle BCA, we also know that CB^2+CA^2 = BA^2. Note that BA = BQ+QP+PA, so BA^2 also equals (BQ+QP+PA)^2 = BQ^2+2(BQ)(QP)+2(BQ)(PA)+QP^2+2(QP)(PA)+PA^2. (this is a writing problem)
What should I do next? How else can I approach this problem?
