#Help. Multiplying with exponents

I am familiar with questions like 5^5 • 5^2= 5^7 but how do you do questions like 4^4 • 6^4 without a calculator?
I am asking this because I want to learn new things.
Since the exponents are both 4, you can simplify 4^4 * 6^4 = (4*6)^4. Not sure if that really counts as solving it though. But I think it is slightly easier to compute that way
