Right
So, if you start 36km away from home and run during 1hr at 8km/hr, how much distance is left until your home ?

If you can answer this question, then you should be able to do the a) method

I'm gonna be away in a bit so let me explain b). You can read that once you're done with a)
Basically, method b) is basically plotting the values of the table obtained in a). You can do it on a sheet of paper (that is good practice imo), or on a computer
You will obtain two lines.
The point where the two lines cross will be your answer. (= The time for which they will be at the same distance, hence the lines being at the same height on your graph)

As for c), I have no clue what "the comparison method" refers to
