@ionic cedar I can help
do you want to send the question?
How do I get good at math where do I start It’s so much and very overwhelming
Are you in school?
I'm graduating from high school, but I want to major in CS. However, my math skills are not good, so I'm taking a gap year to hone my skills.
What's the last math you took in high school?
I don't think a gap year will do you good
You can take math classes in college
In college/university one of the first things you study [if it has maths in it] is probably sth like "Elementary mathematics" or sth like that.
Though if you want to study it yourself, take your countries [if possible] high school lesson plan. Learn some trigonometry, you can always do matrices using a good calculator. For simpler exercises where you need to find x or sth, a good calculator can also do that.
If you can, buy some "math formulas" or sth like that book, which is essentially a collection of formulas.
If you can, flip throuh some of your old math notes, with a textbook by your side
That way you can probably check on whether your attempts in maths are good enough.
Probably during summer now [unless you working] you can maybe hire a private teacher to check up on work for an hour or two a week. They usually charge [where I live] about 20-30 $/€ per hour [if they are not too fancy or high end]
