Been self-studying stat110 for a while, was doing the finals and then suddenly realise I have no intuition for this type of question:
Let there be 4 movies, we label them A, B, C and D. I enjoy watching 3 of them. What is the probability that I enjoy watching Movie A and Movie B?
I know that the hypergeometric pmf can be used instead and that way is quite intuitive. Instead if i were to solve it by 3/4 x 2/3, what am i doing intuitively?
