One truck travels in one direction (+88 km/h) and another truck travels in the opposite direction (-72 km/h), then the difference in their velocities will be 88 km/h - (-72 km/h).

That difference is 160 km/h. Now use dist. = sp. * time to find the answer.

They are travelling in opposite directions. So if one was travelling north then the other is going south. So the distance between them = 88x + 72x
