I am given polar coordinates (-2,-5pi/3) and I am trying to convert the -5pi/3 to degrees. I multiplied by 180/pi and got -300. What!!!!!! I need to plug this into x=rcos(theta) and I dont know how to get the radian back out of that -300.....
I realize I am making this hard on myself. I am confused because 5pi/3 is (1/2,sqrt3/2) but what do i do with a negative 5pi/3???
