For the second figure;

Do you know how to find a definite integral?

#

ie, work out your lower and upper bounds, find the integral (this ones easy as you can apply the power rule) then apply the fundamental theorem of calculus

#

$$\int_a^b f(x) \mathrm{d}x=[F(x)]_a^b=F(b)-F(a)$$
