What did i do wrong

write 3 in terms of log base 4

3= log 4 (64)

so then you can cancel the logs on both sides

so x(x-63) = 64

then u hv a quadratic

which u can solve to get x= -1 or 64

then u reject -1

as u cant take negative logs

hence x=64
