You seem to have the algebra mostly figured out, but there are several issues with this proof.
I'm guessing the negative sign above the 1 is just a typo here
Also, this inequality is what you would use for a two-sided limit. You should be more precise that 0< 1-x < delta.
More generally, though, you start your proof with a statement of what it would mean for the limit to be 0. But you don't know that it is and you can't assume that it is.
You don't want to write any of this, though the calculations that you do in the second line should be done on scrap paper so that you know how to choose delta.
Specifically, you are trying to prove a statement about every epsilon>0, so your proof has to start with "let epsilon > 0".
The next line is "choose delta = <whatever you computed that it has to be>"
