@unkempt grove thats a level further maths right
so want u want to do first is check if the direction vectors are scalars of eachother
so (1 2 -3) = 1/2(2 4 -6) so they are the same direction vector
then u test if one of the position vectors lies on the other line so (0 2 -1) = (5 6 -10) + t(2 4 -6)
so 0 = 5 + 2t, 2 = 6 + 4t and -1 = -10 -6t
so u have 3 equations and if t is the same on all 3, then the two equations represent the same line
if you didnt understand, this example is neater

i think the question was wrong since the answers for the three were different but in the answers for the question it said they represented the same line
