If you do the math for this vector function, you find that the divergence is 0 everywhere else and infinite at the origin (can be given by a delta function). But why is the divergence at the red dot zero? Shouldn't the divergence there be negative since the vector entering the red dot is greater than the vector exiting the red dot?
