is there a way to do ( ) on that calculator? Or otherwise have you tried getting sin43 first and then multiplying the answer by 12?
it might be an order of operations problem
@sullen swift
oh ok
like if you do (sin43) x 12 does that work? I guess it won't show up like that huh
is it possible to just to the sin43 then =
and then multiply the answer by 12? Like is there an ANS button or smthn?
and if you calculate sin43 press = then multiply by 12 does it work?
Or another way might be to do 12xsin43 instead of sin43x12
oh wait I think I see the problem
your calculator seems to be in radians
there's a little RAD thing at the top
k
right, but does 12xsin43 work?
but it says DEG at the top?
hmm
that's really strange
hmm, do you know if there is like an instructions manual you could look up? I'm not familiar with that type of calculator
it might mention stuff there but honestly I'm not sure
sorry I couldn't be of more help
perhaps you could borrow another calculator or maybe someone else has a similar model?
perfect, good luck on the exam!
Do it in a way where 12 multiplies the answer of sin43 I think that way would work
but before tomorrow maybe try using the other calculator and try out that porblem
