did you get sorted?
if the area of a triangle is height times base over 2
and the base of abc is half of abd
whhat does this tell us?
uhm
it means the area of ABC is 10 square units?
oh wait a sec
did I just solved it?
:0
wait no
I am still confusing
Yea
you got it
if we assign a value to each it helps some times
so if I ac was equal to 2, that would mean ad is equal to 4
right
if we say hight is equal to one it gives us all of our unknowns we need to find 2 areas
gime 2 secs and ill give you an example that you can work backwards off of the example on
ok
so if we say AC is 4
the question tells us that AD is 8 as its twice the length
if the height was 5
hight meaning from point B straight down
Yes
if AC is hald of ad then this means that (4x5)/2 is 10
half, sorry
ok no problem
use some of this reasoning in your answer to prove your answer
Yes, I think this gonna helps me
good to hear
not a bother, bye
