the further maths content itself isn't that bad. however, you need to learn a lot of content because there's usually 8-10 questions per paper (multiple parts) and it's out of 75 marks. if one of the questions you can't do, you've already lost 6-10 marks. so you pretty much need to know all the topics. it's very competitive as well with the best nerdy maths students.

not only that but there's a 1½ hour time limit which is quite short. you need to master the topics because you need to be able to read the question then get into answering the question straight away and quickly move onto the next.

it's the amount of content that you have to learn + the time limit that makes the subject difficult

you usually don't want to spend time thinking about how to do a question in the exam and just get to answering it (or atleast keep the thinking time short)

Well I have adhd and supposedly(?) depression, which kinda destroys the mind from what I've heard.

Plus my head just isn't normal with thoughts anyways for reasons I don't understand.

Well, my thoughts might be normal now, it's been a while since it's been weird.

Back around when I first had stuff one could call it, I assumed it was anhedonia caused by my adhd (it made me physically unable to swallow food and just not wanting to really be alive), but the timelines point to it being caused by my medications and another mental disorder, gender dysphoria.
