Your chilling making your house and you see someone walking towards you. He doesn't appear to be hostile so you dont shoot. With that decision you are rewarded. This new companions name is John. John is an ex sahara merc that was recently fired by silver jacket for not supporting what they were doing to the Pufftons. John appears to be quite beaten up even has a bullet wound from silver jacket. At first when he comes to your base he will have a makeshift white flag to tell you he means no harm. He ask the player if he can stay at the camp with you. Obviously Kelvin and virginia wont like him much as sahara is the one who started this whole mess in the first place. But as John gives you and both of the companions gifts the companions will start to like John alot more and will interact with him. You may be asking, What would John be useful for? As John is beaten up quite a bit he will need some rest and medicine to be useful to the player, but once John is in good health it will be worth the players recourses as john will assist you and the other companions in their daily activities.
Eg. Kelvin is tasked to go get logs, so if John sees this, John will also cut down trees and put logs in the area kelvin was asked to aswell.
Virginia is trying to hold off a bunch of enemies, so John with assist Virginia by shooting them with a rifle or melee attacking with the machete.
The gifts given to the player could contain; 3 - 6 ammo, Meds, Food, Electronics and many other supplies. John can also be commanded to do stuff like Kelvin but instead of the note book, A piece of paper placed near or in the base with the list of things the player needs John to do that day. Each day the list will reset and the player will need to reselect what they want done the next day.
