Trading printer resin between players gives one at a time, but the item that's thrown out will give 100 if you press "e" or whatever your item-interact button is on it fast enough. otherwise, it'll still only give you the one. also, giving printer resin to teammates knocks them back, which eventually will create a floating printer resin, which unless walked into, also will give you 100 printer resin.

Also I wasn't too sure if this would be a minor bug or a major bug, because it's not really gamebreaking, but it's also not exactly a minor bug.

I currently have over 1000 printer resin in my inventory and the game doesn't actually allow you to pick that amount up, as I see it a 100 gram cartridge is seen as 100 cartridges in your inventory, what makes it worse is that you can't drop them without giving them to another player or putting them on a shelf, this needs to be sorted.

Just to add to this I can confirm that the cartridge is 120ml and when you pick it up yet get 120 cartridges, the reverse happens if you use the 3d printer, so the way around excessive cartridges in your inventory is simply to print items.
