#Config saving

shouldn't take up a lot of space
also would be nice if you could rename the saved configs
There’s a command for that
That saves your settings
Actually idk if that’s configs too
I'm thinking about a gui in the website
that only saves in the mod no?
also does it save the whole filter rules and all of the settinst
That saves your flip settings, aka everything you get when you export your settings
For a few months it's the same format now
so when you want to load them in you do /cofl load ingame?
Creating a backup when a config change is very different is a good idea
You would do /cofl backup list and click the Backup you want
They have a name you gave them when creating and a timestamp
so if I do /cofl save ingame it saves the config with a name I give and a timestamp and I can import a different config
then do /cofl backup to load in the previous one
I see
and is there a limit to the amount of configs you can save
Is there a save command? I would say it's /cofl backup add {name}
The max saved configs is 3 I think
Can change that if you need more, the bigger the backup the longer it takes to load etc
yeah would be nice to have at least 5
Sure thing, also what about /cl sendconfig {username} to send your config to somebody
oh that would be very nice
also how fast does the mod sync with the website when u load in a new config with the /cofl backuo
almost instantly right?
Unless you import a few megabytes of config you should not notice a delay.
Some filters take a while to load tho
Item category loads the items in the category for example
I see thanks
actually could you make the max configs 10 please

oh it's automatic as well
the on config change or the increase of "slots"?
well not automatic already existed 🙃
I strive to automate everything possible, takes me a few minutes once and saves every body else seconds each time adding up
@meager badge I also wanted to ask, when you make changes to the backed up config they don't save to the backup right?
and u gotta back it up again?
You can't change the backup config, only action is load and delete
so when I want to save the modified config I have to delete the old one then backup again?
Yes, after loading it those are the remaining steps
I see, would it be possible to make it so it automatically saves the updates into the back up?
also, did you find out the reason why the auction did not show up as bought?
how would that behave like how do you tell which is active? Currently if you restore the backup to edit it and then restore the backup again you have back your previous config (which got backed up because of your config change)
sadly no
basically, if you edit the config you have right now and it's backed up the back up would also change so you don't need to remove the back up then back up the edited config again
that's how I would imagine it
sad
the backup never is the same as your current config it only gets created if its different
otherwise there are a few issues.
What use is a backup good for if you edit it anyways, potentially breaking it.
What backups to edit when?
what if you do /cofl backup?
then one of them could be the same but again, what use is the backup if it is the same as your current settings?
the way I see it and why I use the /cofl backup is that you can switch between different configs. Like I have a few configs i use and it's very nice to have them saved and that you can quickly switch between them
and it would be even better if the updates you make saved into the backup
I can make you an "update" button but I don't think automatically changing backups is a good idea
