That's rude, could have at least kept the original message where I explained what I was doing in excruciating fucking detail.

tl:dr still need to make a boolean "is_header" using "if line.startswith", count hashtags on headers to define relative header levels (each additional hashtag dentotes anoter subheading), then strip all the prefixes I'm using to classify it. then I get to learn psycopg2 and shove it all into my psql database.
