I am currently learning python. but i thought a real world project of something i wanted to do would help. I have been utilizing AI assistance anytime i got stuck because this project was a bit out of my depth at first.

but it has been amazing getting a basis and adding things into it to learn to do new things.

Looking for any suggestions / improvements people would do to this. Best practices etc

I still have a lot to learn, i work as a control system engineer so mostly scada / PLC's.
