Remember to:

  • Ask your Python question, not if you can ask or if there's an expert who can help.
  • Show a code sample as text (rather than a screenshot) and the error message, if you've got one.
  • Explain what you expect to happen and what actually happens.

:warning: Do not pip install anything that isn't related to your question, especially if asked to over DMs.

Python -m pip list, check if it's installed on the environment you are using

quiet skiff
#

Check if you are using the correct Python version, as in, the same installation you installated the pacakges to before

see if py -m pip --version, python -m pip --version and pip --version are all pointing to the same path

#

pay more attention to the path than the version itself

#

it should show the path to the python interpreter

#

e.g. ```
pip 24.2 from C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python312\Lib\site-packages\pip (python 3.12)

``C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python312`` is the installation you'd be using
#

Which paths do you see when you run it?

Try searching what a virtual environment is and how to use it

#

we strongly recommend not using the Microsoft Store version, just uninstall it

#

they probably only had one Python version installed

#

Yes, but you have already done that so no need to do it again.

The one installed in AppData is the one you downloaded from python.org I assume?

#

you might need to install discord.py again if it was previously installed to the MS store one

#

yes
you can try using py -m pip instead of pip if it still doesn't works
