100 and 100? that would mean equal to 100? Did you mistype one of the numbers?

No place for an integer between 100 and 100 ;)
if -100 <= number <= 100:
(-100 and 100 are inclusive here, use < to exclude either of them)

note: that is special python syntax, that is equal to:
if -100 <= number and number <= 100:
