Gurkan will never go away O.O
its not in our names but in our stomachs
I’m currently working on a gurkancount command
lol
We will fight to the last breath. Till the last Gurkan. And it will be passed down for generations to come. We will be legendary
btw I came up with nice domain name for website
Wrong chat
Exactly @edgy crest, though names are nice as well, since they show up on the counter and everything
@somber apex did you load the cog
Command 'Spam' with self bots... sounds legit
@ancient stream
🥒
🥒
Just bought these. raspbeerpi.com and raspibeer.com lol.
@somber apex show us your code
We will fight to the last breath. Till the last Gurkan. And it will be passed down for generations to come. We will be legendary
this is the way
oh
there’s the code for lodging the extension
I'm gunna laugh, 40 years from now if the world is still here, the Gurkan Cult is going to reach religious levels.
hmm
For sure
you should be using Bot and not Client
Please discuss that in another ot channel that isn’t currently in a discussion
@somber apex claiming a help channel
Or even #discord-bots if that’s what it uses
Okay. I’m gonna go to bed. Believe it or now
hehe
@eternal wing can you believe it?
We need like an equivalent to the ark of the covenant..maybe canning jars of the pantry?
yes, i believe it
Ah, indeed
Feel free to discuss options and ping me with them. I’ll have a look when I wake up
Have anyone tried webflow?
Nope
Not even sure what that is tbh
They are rly nice, but idk if their plans are worth it
website building like wordpress
So, it’s finally 6:28 and I’m ready to sleep. Very nice
Ooh, I honestly wish wordpress was cheaper. I don't wanna make a site from scratch because I don't know HTML/CSS enougg
Night all. See you tomorrow today 👋
I should learn it though I guess
I do know HTML and CSS but not good enough
bye-bye
Night!
Gn vester
Ouchie.. random hiccups and they hurt. Fml
no?
hey @quick ledge
I want your thoughts on this idea
what if, instead of just two channels being doubly linked, every channel is linked to every other channel
then it's always O(1) to get to another channel.
wordpress bad
lol. I don't like their import templates or smth
ok, I'm too opinionated tbh. But I would not learn wordpress at this point
webflow is better. Not sure, yet tho
@frozen crane hmmm.
will that make a considerable difference? I'm assuming you are talking about discord channels because i don't know what's the context
it's a joke about todays ot name
Lmaoo
I was thinking, what's the point of doubly-linked channel
people are always complaining that we have too many channels
and they don't even know about the staff and mod channels
this is the solution
I don't remember how, but I just came up with raspbeerpi.com. What do you guys think?
I wanna see staff channels 🤔

Why are there so many voice channels 🤔
Sounds like an IPA beer website
mmmm beer
#changelog is a channel
I feel like I'd make more money by flipping domains than niche site short-term.
The fitness gram
In short. I'm lazy short-term.
I wanna see staff channels 🤔
even if i zoom all the way out, i still can't screenshot all of them at once
maybe i could on my desktop pc, but not on a 1080p screen
Why does everyone has a santa hat in their pfp in November lol. I
Hello, please is there a real-world source code to look at to learn c++ in intermediate level ?
ma add one to this man in my pfp
I wanna see staff channels 🤔
@ancient stream u could see the staff chats through the template
it's not accurate
Either I'm blind, or there isn't a staff cateogry of channels
to what we actually have
They didn't feel some channels were necessary to include in the template
that's my guess
I wonder how come
hmmm
:)
what is duck pond
a pong with ducks i guess
you will act as a duck there
🦆
and quck
because the one above it is staff off topic right?
it's a starboard
quick quack
a what?
a what?
@quick bay it's a channel in which a message gets sent when a certain number of ducks have been used
Imagine starboard in the space.
i think
if a message gets 4 ducks from 4 staff members, the message is relayed to that channel
ooo
why do we have that channel
for fun
you don't 🙃
*you
why can’t we see that channel?
you are not staff
but.
you are a stick not a staff
why should you see the channel?
lol
it's our starboard
Is that different server for staff or just a really long list of channels
o to bad

a bunch of them are from the python core dev sprint
i am creating a issue on that
I wonder if I'm being watched by big brother 👀
1984
->🤦♂️
A bunch of them are modmail threads I assume
ohh
you can see the currently open modmail threads in the pic
->🤦♂️
@frozen thorn no
where do the closed threads go then?
are they retrieved from the DM?
lol, we would have like 5 million channels if they're not removed
👀
then what's archive?
yeah, there's a web interface
#show-your-projects is still alive
There was a Windows channel? Interesting
yeah, it didn't have enough activity
wasn't really relevant much either
how do you guys know about staff channels?
¯_(ツ)_/¯
Because f1re is a staff member wdym?
I mean the non-staff members. Why do you guys care lol
@frozen thorn it's normal to be curious about what goes on behind the scenes.
That's not what I mean. mb.
We know because we have picked up on previous conversations where the staff has given insights about what goes on behind the scenes
Oh I see. That makes sense.
quite a few of us just kinda lurk. constantly. so we pick on things
there's a lot of discussion that goes on behind the scenes about how we can best facilitate the experience we want people to be able to have here
:o
?
I asked that in the Lark-parser/Lark Gitter
hey one question
If I use pen drive to dual boot will I be able to use that pen drive for something else?
wdym by format
Yeah. I think you are talking about livebooting. It runs in memory, new data will be lost after shutdown.
total erase
like format the pendrive
If I use pen drive to dual boot will I be able to use that pen drive for something else?
@scarlet wind yeah. but i dont wipe it
i use another one instead
so how to use that pen drive then
the pendrive with the burnt ISO will be used for cases such as breaking your system xD
what are you doing though
bcuz I am trying to dual boot linux
NICE
There's two options. Try it out or install/partition linux.
i mean secure boot
then once you turn off secure boot. plugin your boot drive and reboot
and if it isnt there then just put in the pendrive and restart
you can also just go to boot options rather than the bios
so you dont have to go through a lot of trouble like me
easier that way, you can select which drive to boot
select the one with the burnt ISO
I can't understand anything lol
look up a tutorial smh
is there an easy way
Watch youtube. I think I got a tutorial somehow
can you give one bcuz I find many but don't like it lol
!resources
The Resources page on our website contains a list of hand-selected learning resources that we regularly recommend to both beginners and experts.
?
hmm?
I mean the dual boot one Stel
ah okay
@scarlet wind what distro u have?
oh
i see
@scarlet wind do you have the iso on your pen drive rn
(skip to 5:15)[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-nS660EmYM]
We can Live Boot Ubuntu from a USB / Pendrive without any need to install it or Dual Boot our PC.
It's the most easy way to run any version of Ubuntu on a USB.
Do backup all your data as your USB will be f...
ok
ugh

Just watch that tutorial as an example.
Here are the step-by-step instructions on how to create a dual boot environment within your Windows 7. The instructions will show you have to install Ubuntu (Linux) along side with Windows 7. Please enjoy.
#Linux #Windows #BTNHD
Don't forget guys, if you like this video plea...
pre 5:15 is just burning/formmating USB
also this just in case
Oh right. You wanna dual boot
https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=how+to+dual+boot+ubuntu+and+windows+7 here so you can see the search results
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iFurFEANLC4
@mild abyss He uses vm
You have to be careful. There's a difference betweening installing linux during livebooting and dual booting. If you just install, you will lose window 7
@scarlet wind same process
I want to dual boot not live boot
A live CD (also live DVD, live disc, or live operating system) is a complete bootable computer installation including operating system which runs directly from a CD-ROM or similar storage device into a computer's memory, rather than loading from a hard disk drive.
@scarlet wind you are overthinking this, what you do is, get the iso on the pen drive, plug the pen drive in, restart, you will get a menu, you fill in the details, then theres an option for dual boot or a new install
so it aint external??
use rufus to get the iso on the pendrive
simply copying it wont do
yes
@edgy crest ubuntu iso?
yah
if you want ubuntu
also just watch the video
yeah, and you dont copy paste the iso on the pen drive
I can change the distribution later right
yes
yeah
same process
Do same process
@edgy crest so I just download ubuntu and iso to the pendrive
wait
it would have another option such as Replace Ubuntu with Manjaro
if ubuntu is installed
Manjaro is nice
yeah
I'm on manjaro lol.
vinam was that yeah for me
no
but if you wanna just manjaro why not use it instead? it would be a waste of time to try ubuntu but you switch to manjaro instantly
see a tutorial
try manjaro xfce, kde, etc. in that order if you wanna try manjaro
I am not switching to manjaro instatly
go for manjaro then
what you do is, go to the website, then download the iso, 1-2gb, then, you install rufus, the instructions will be there on rufus on how you can burn the iso into the pendrive
keep in mind though, it will wipe out everything which is currently inside thependrive
is this it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoTQEfwjP2o?

i didnt know anything about linux but i chose manjaro for the first time, but your choice
btw
ok I will go with manjaro then
there wont be much any difference because both use calamares installer
You'll have to learn commands
yeah
ik fel
i will recommend you see videos on how do different distros look
and make your choice
some people get really anal about certain distros, but no one with a tad bit of experience picks favourites
they are all very similar
manjaro is a bit different on commands. I'm still not used to it. I was used to apt-get or smth similar on ubuntu.
i used to use debian
different package manager. yeah
tbh i like yay -S packgname instead of sudo apt-get but ok
8gb pendrive should work?
yep
yup
apt is just a package manager. There are similar ones available for other dists
thats more than enough
@scarlet wind but, keep in mind that the pen drive will be wiped out of its data
if you have any data with it that you need back it up now
ik I don't have anything in that pendrive
Just check in that case
alr, good luck
good luck
Let me find my pendrive lol
hmmm if youre on UEFI, i suggest you explore rEFInd too but grub is fine
I did have some issues writing ubuntu 20.04 to an 8 gig pen drive
I haven't thought about it but can you install linux in VM? Like in liveboot?
I burned the iso using rufus but when I tried booting it it did not boot correctly
huh
it didnt say any errors after burning?
hm did you use it before to install something else?
ubuntu is one of the more bloated dists so I suspected that it was a space issue
no
bruh, i didnt get any prob with manjaro xfce iso on a 4 gb pendrive, your might be corrupted?
You need to have a blank USB flash drive of at least 2 GB capacity. I won’t recommend going over 8 GB as not many computers will be able to boot into it. This is for manjaro
i see thats weird
is this correct
Idk about going over 8GB part lol
no 7.7GB is fine
I used 16GB
mine 8GB
well i will go learn algos cya
Gl
Linux is not easy to hack I have heard this is this true
it is pretty easy if it is configured wrong
i dont think thats true
The number of viruses written for linux is realtively less
^
compared to windows
because it is not the most popular OS thats the reason
it is pretty easy if it is configured wrong
also, this
if GNU/Linux is a major OS, pretty sure there would be many viruses for it
It is used quite a lot in companies though. R&D usually run their stuff on linux machines so there should be some pretty nasty industrial espionage viruses solely built for linux
nothing you need to worry about as a citizen though
thanks pucch pooch puchy pouch
lol
However I suspect red hat is a little bit more secured compared to the consumer dists 😄
yeah. is fedora secured too?
No idea, I only know red hat from my various jobs
yay
red hat is a paid operating system. It costs money to use it afaik
mhm
yum yum
about how much i forgot
That money goes into patching it and making it more resilient against espionage and such
it's the reason why companies use it, and not say ubuntu
on the scale of 0-10 how hard is it to operate linux
depends on what you are doing
regular user stuff, not difficult
server administration, tad bit more difficult
I want to do regular stuff
yeah you should be able to find tutorials for everything you want to do no problems
You will be fine if you dual boot
what distro are you on now pucch?
go with Manjaro XFCE, GNOME, and KDE.
I am using windows 10 atm. For when I wanna do dev stuff I have a VM with ubuntu 20.04
what should I go with
I use kde
i see
xfce is ligther
vm is pretty nice
VM is no joke one of the best technologies invented the last 10 years
yeah
so I should go with KDE?
It's so easy to just setup an environment and use that for a lil while, then when you need to change you just create a new vm
yeah virtualbox
if you want speed yeah you need a vm. ew wsl
What's your specs? I'd look it up and compare it with required specs for kde
I have such bad experience with wsl 😂
I tried it once, but it was just so clunky and difficult and windowsy
fel my windows specs?
though i have many recycled laptops now so i will probably use mine currently for linux stuff and the new one for windows gaming
@scarlet wind your computer specs
^
ram, storage, cpu, gpu
if it isnt much you should go with xfce, if they are good then you should go with kde
I have a bunch of 90s and 2000s laptops lol
@scarlet wind go with xfce
why not kde
Yeah probably xfce.
kde wont do much good with 4 gb ram
kde is buggy as fuck
i can customize my xfce pretty well
^ if that's true. xfce then
xfce it is
yep
Does xfce ask you for Wi-Fi password every login?
I suck at os knowledge xD
also ubuntu consumes about as much ram as windows on idle, i saw that on a vid is this true?
@frozen thorn nope
wt wifi password every login who does that lol
wait
It does for me lol. I stopped using it tho. I'm sure you can change that setting
I have heard there is no refresh button in linux what is that about
it probably is a misconfiguration of the install
@scarlet wind wdym by refresh button
for browser?
vivek helped someone with xfce wifi problems
yea
its there
lol
then wtf told me all this shit
os doesnt affect browser
You can have chrome
@scarlet wind if you wanna go with tiling wins you can watch mine as reference
I am going to dislik that video asap
or fox ones
wow
Exactly
heres xfce
@scarlet wind i use kitty as terminal emulator. i dont like alacritty.
is this it? https://www.fosslinux.com/2607/how-to-create-manjaro-linux-live-usb-drive-in-windows-pc.htm
tiling wins are good for space management.
That's cool lol
I'm still mad that I can't get images to replace the manjaro logo lol
@frozen thorn coool
Like my penguin logo?
hes tux
i thnk you can replace it by right clicking it
also ubuntu consumes about as much ram as windows on idle, i saw that on a vid is this true?
@edgy crest My windows:
Nah in terminal I mean
Ubuntu
@floral viper i envy your specs AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I forgot the name of the thing
lmao that commas' hard to read
Yeah lol, damn cooler blocks it
Most of the PCs boot into bootloader when the F12 key is continuously pressed upon power ON sequence. Make sure to enable boot in UEFI mode to run Linux alongside Windows. What does this mean? UEFI mode
so if I press F12 again and again it will open bios?
Yeah ubuntu is fairly bloated these days. For good and bad
you can toggle uefo mode in the startup menu
I think an operating system's job is to utilize ram as productively as possible? I'd assume a smart OS should use a lot of ram to preload stuff
Probably
@scarlet wind most PCs nowadays use UEFI
would I have to do it again and again or 1 time step
bios for legacy boot
idk. Look it up for window 7. Might be different
would I have to do it again and again or 1 time step
@scarlet wind one step at a time
I would have to use Rufus right
yes
let me download all this thing
Just 1 ISO file.
Does xfce ask you for Wi-Fi password every login?
@frozen thorn kde shouldn't do that
You need to set up your password manager (kwallet) to do that
manjaro xfce iso is about 1.2 gb btw
download it then format/burn USB with rufus
yeah, prob a bit more, but its os what can you expect, atleaast its less than windows 10 lol
yeah. Update/ugrade takes me 1-10 seconds lol
manjaro i3 minimal is around 930MB i guess
hey fel, do you use KDE?
Ya
ummm
and does it ask for wifi password at every login?
Rufus 3.13 beta?
Puppy linux is about 300 megs the entire operating system. It loads the entire os into RAM so it can boot on computers without hard drives using a flash drive
kde looks nice I think Im going with it
rufus 3.12 or rufus 3.13 beta??
Doesn't matter lol
@floral viper WOW thats coool
I will go with 3.12 as more stable lol
Good idea
It's a nifty little linux dist built specifically for disk rescue
No. Just Xfce
@frozen thorn it shouldn't do that. I think your password manager or something is misconfigured
Yeah someone else said that. Tho I'll not use xfce again.
rufus 3.12 or rufus 3.13 beta??
which distro are you going with?
I had issues with manajro and rufus
I only installed xfce because kde was running hot. But I just had to configured the fans or smth. It's all good
yeah, that is the xfce download
it's just website lol.
os is also better
@scarlet wind and what makes u say that?
minimal??
different packages or smth
@simple sand for me as I have 6yr old laptop
arnav, how much storage are you planning to give it?
and?
minimal will have less number of packages installed OOTB
i didn't ask how old your pc was, i asked what made u think that linux is better than windows
@quick ledge I am dual booting with pendrive
You want to dual boot. How much space do you need for linux and window 7
I am getting the iso image
I recommend practicing on a VM first
This is iso image right
someone suggested that
full iso is just 2.something GB
Ya. Like Vivek, practice on a VM, or just try it out in liveboot without actually installing.
minimal vs full?
@simple sand windows is chonky, for example i've got a 6 y/o laptop with 8gb of ram that can't run windows + an ide if anything else is open
chonkus chonkies
@quick ledge download speed 10mbps
antimalware executable is like 30% too
@scarlet wind thats fine. you will finish the download approximately around 1hr 30 minutes
@mild abyss why minimal
minimal will have less number of packages installed OOTB
What. 1hr 30 minutes?
30 minutes if the connection is stable
I should go with full or minimal pls
@versed saffron but for someone wants to do stuff beside programming windows is better
it ended up corrupting it self by crashing during an installation
What. 1hr 30 minutes?
@frozen thorn i live in a world where my internet sucks :((
Probably full
yea ik that Inheritanc-e
sorry wrong ping
So i don't have to install extra packages
@versed saffron but for someone wants to do stuff beside programming windows is better
@simple sand uhm hmmm no not really
but for me I don't want to game
^ how so
gaming i agree though
That's fine
I will go with full
I don't game either. Again, I nuked macOS
sad macOS go bye bye
No regrets
2.6gb full size
Tho I might have issues selling it
i see
Sounds good.
i really dont like full though you end up not using some of those
but go for it
it is fine
torrent is faster than the web download right
yup
I will do torrent download
download speed 10mbps
@scarlet windokay, it'll take you about 40 minutes
yes, do torrent download if you don't have a download manager
Wow. I only realized download and upload
i mean it is not necessary
but it helps you check if it was downloaded correctly
Wow. I only realized
download andupload
@frozen thorn hmmm?
wow torrent is much faster
it is still downloading
torrent is like ftp so it is faster but it aint ftp
but I am getting like 600kbps-1mbps
i dont know how to describe it
ETA is 1hr
and yea the download limit you set too
I have set it to like 999999999
and it is so much faster
That's pretty long. It was like 5 minutes. Not trying to brag.
30 mbps
30MBps... :(( i wish i have that speed here
I can't even think of getting that speed
xD. I don't even understand how mbps work
700mbps >.>
wt
Download speed?
Yeah which is like 87MBps
Btw I pay 10+ a month for mine
Yeah I pay 80 xD
do you live under a frekin tower
lol
I get 10mbps by max
Nah I just live where there is fibre and a 7 college town so a nice backbone runs through here
i find this weird xD
But I'm getting that speed over copper
What wifi are you using? I had to use wifi usb dongler in another country
Not fibre because the fibre company hasn't installed yet completely due to covid
lol. Are you learning css?
I will be back when my iso file is done cya
gl
thx
I'm looking to find some sites that I can build my own template then export its code or smth
free. who knows
i like to write my own sometimes. hmmm
Same.
imma make a github repo and create templates either from copied or from my own.
Yeah I pay 80 xD
you get 20 mbps for 80$ here :(
now they upped it to 60 mbps
I live in Oman
is that a city? what country?
It's a country
from what continent?
it borders UAE, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, etc
wow and i thought i have worst internet prices
@mild abyss it is getting better
Actually, that's Abu Dhabi lol
@frozen thorn ha, that is in UAE
not Saudi Arabia
On paid account plans, you can export your project's HTML, CSS, assets, and JavaScript from inside the Webflow Designer. ... You can do this to backup your code and provide it to your client if they ask for it. You can use the exported code to host it anywhere you would like.
I'll be honest, no clue where oman is, kinda feel stupid not knowing too lol
Why should i do this if I can copy code with inspect
that's okay natani
it's not that popular
huh, that's close to Pakistan
@quick ledge i thought you lived in india
Oh dang so you are right by the sea
yeah
@quick ledge i thought you lived in india
@edgy crest I'm an Indian, dw
I live in Oman because that's where my parents work
ah i c
Well that's nifty! Always cool to meet people online from other places.
Oh parents work. i was wondering why you speak great English lol
Or they have good education now..
Do I? I don't think my English is great
Better than mine lol
But I don't care, either
It's better than some native English speakers lol.
same
I think my first language is like rare. It's unlikey that it's someone else's first language too.
Nope. Tho I'm supposed to learn it. My parents know Urdu, Farsi
Ah
did you move the iso?
no
but it is still downloading right?
yes
which torrenting client are you using?
utorrent
for me ads don't show up lol it is black out
what about ublock origin? To block ads lol
It's nice to not have ads when I watch anime on Crunchyroll
or, you can install something that doesn't serve you ads
There was this controversy regarding utorrent
something about them installing cryptocurrency miners on your system
Oh really?
I guess I gotta get rid of utorrent
I have been using it since 2yr
muscle cramps suck
Espically leg muscle cramps
I am having it rn
yea but walking is tough lol
Oh really?
@ancient stream
BitTorrent client uTorrent has come under fire from users after it emerged the software's latest update comes bundled with Bitcoin mining software. The piece of software, named Epic Scale, is a Bitcoin miner that purports to use your 'unused processing power to change the world.
I think it came as an "optional" install (They removed it shortly after the backlash)
You know how that plays out
qBittorrent is better
qBittorent is open source
yup
I probably use utorrent for the last time
yeah
qBittorent is better?
it doesn't have any ads
it's free
very light
but is it safe though
okay qBittorent it is
btw 50% done for the iso
probably take 1hr30min in total to complete
It's been a while since I listened to a song
yup
hey AG
works in i3 very well

yeah listen to EDEN, Kasbo,
alec benjamin
@rough sapphire wow we have the same song in mind
after the iso is done what to do?
format - burn iso file on usb
using rufus
ya
after the iso is done what to do?
@scarlet wind insert usb flashdrive then use rufus to burn the iso to the flashdrive
its easy as f
@rough sapphire I have never used it
rufus.. What's the other one?
what should be the partition scheme?
Oh yeah
let me see what is mine
the one that works with UEFI
ngl. I haven't listened to a song in a long time
then I will finally join the Linux Gang lol
lol
lets make LemonOS guys xD
You can say "I use arch btw". Manjaro is arch-based
jk i dont have much linux knowledge

noooooooooooooooooo
fudge
lets name it Lemux
someone already has it
It's even in my pfp

i dont think it uses the linux kernel
lol 0 pull request
oh wait i think it does
yeah i think it is a solo project
i wish i can help the guy

i won't stay up late to finish this assignment. So Ima sleep now. My time management sucks!

Manjaro Linux is well pre-configured by default but there are still things you can do after installing Manjaro to improve your user experience. These are my 10 Things to do first in Manjaro.
I applied these 10 things in my Manjaro with Plasma 5 which I reviewed in this video ...

i use paru yay and pamac
these three helps you install from the AUR

octopi sucks?
So pamac is basically used to download stuff

Stopping processes on Linux is surprisingly intuitive
Like windows does linux has option to launch something as soon as the system starts?
wdym pure?
Like windows does linux has option to launch something as soon as the system starts?
@scarlet wind it does
but most of it you do it by yourself i guess by making a startup daemon or a script or go to settings and add it to startup
but oh well
but you can disable it
but dont disable important ones
just leave the defaults for now
since youre new
yeah oh i should go back learn rust. i hope someone will help you here
I will watch some videos till then
cool
cya
cya
so hear me out
sleep is for the weak
true men keep modding till they fall dead
good thing i have no sense of pride
xD
yep
ok, so i am trying to add an edittext and while adding a hint, i keep getting an warning that "hardcorded string 'smth', should use '@string' resource"
'smth' is the hint here
what do i do then?
kotlin or java? not familiar with both btw
java
well the question is strictly xml based... so doesn't matter about the code anyyway
@mild abyss what browser you use?
brave-beta and firefox-developer-edition
firefox is the default in linux right
i use brave because firefox became cpu intensive like wtf
yea chrome is the worst
ha? brave is chromium
I will try out brave
chrome is the worst true
no I use chrome and it sucks
wow it blocks ads and trackers
chrome does non of that xD
firefox does but upto a certain level I think or it doesn't
it does
ohk
but the cpu usage when you open it goes up to 99%
i am using intel pentium
and if i use brave just around 40
then it goes back to normal
20-40
what is Brave Rewards?
wdym pure? :pithunk:
@mild abyss Seekillall
i see killall
i use pkill hmmm
wait i am confused btw xD
Usage: killall [OPTION]... [--] NAME...
killall -l, --list
killall -V, --version
-e,--exact require exact match for very long names
-I,--ignore-case case insensitive process name match
-g,--process-group kill process group instead of process
-y,--younger-than kill processes younger than TIME
-o,--older-than kill processes older than TIME
-i,--interactive ask for confirmation before killing
-l,--list list all known signal names
-q,--quiet don't print complaints
-r,--regexp interpret NAME as an extended regular expression
-s,--signal SIGNAL send this signal instead of SIGTERM
-u,--user USER kill only process(es) running as USER
-v,--verbose report if the signal was successfully sent
-V,--version display version information
-w,--wait wait for processes to die
-n,--ns PID match processes that belong to the same namespaces
as PID```
i see useful
we can modify linux cuz it's open source right
but if we don't know the cmds we can screw it up right
