@graceful basin I basically had zero foresight of this happening and made environments "bind" to functions when the evaluate method is called. In this case, when Symbol("fn") is evaluated given the top-level environment, it yields a Function object that's also evaluated which causes a permanent binding
Making the second Symbol("fn") call not respect the environment that it is given
tl;dr outer function gets top-level environment and tries to push a child to the inner function but because of an implementation error it creates its own child environment from the top-level environment instead
