imo samsung had a pretty solid run from 2017-2019. the s8 was a breath of fresh air. i was pretty happy with mine til this year. then they started bucking to apple's trends and the s10/note 10 are incredible disappointments comparison to their predecessors. and the update to pie was a total botch. they literally broke the camera app and removed all the pro features.
