someone just asked how I prepared to be a code jam champion, the answer is I didn't really... my Python story is I learned it a little bit like 10 years ago, then forgot a bunch. Then I decided I wanted to change careers to programming, and I had forgotten Python, so I used the SoloLearn app to learn all the syntax. Then I came to this server and helped people using what I knew in order to get better, and did a bunch of side hobby projects in Python. Then I applied to the code jam and just had a good team with a decent idea so we ended up barely winning the last code jam. And that's the story.

electric scooters and similar are considered to be "mechanically propelled"
this means that you do have to have a full license, road tax and insurance

the one way to work around this is to have a scooter that requires you to manually get it up to, say, 4mph before hitting the throttle to kick in the motor
