I've used some pennies as a heatsink before. They conduct heat well, but they don't facilitate convection very well because of their compact surface area. This is to say that they are able to take some heat off of the chip, but they can't put it into the air so they just get hot.

Also because they are electrically conductive you can short your circuits really effectively too. Had to RMA a GPU because of a careless tap.

I've heard something about pride month today and honestly, it made sense. Why do we have a pride month to support the sexuality of others, but only a day to remember the veterans that fought really hard for years and that many of them lost their lives? I'm not against LGBTQ+s in any way, but that's just my opinion.
