sand goblet
#

I'm OK

#

:P

#

I just.. don't know how to deal with myself

river anvil
#

its easy for me to say but ive been in positions where i just had to let things go

empty canopy
#

i feel that gdude

#

i feel that .

river anvil
#

and i will have to be in those situations again probably too

sand goblet
#

I mean a couple people that know me intimately have said that I should get professional help

#

well it turns out I can't get that

empty canopy
#

i think everybody has points in their life they just have to let things go

sand goblet
#

so I've gotta make do

river anvil
#

why not

empty canopy
#

no matter what value they may hold

sand goblet
#

because it basically doesn't exist where I am

river anvil
#

ah

empty canopy
#

and that is?

sand goblet
#

rural Ireland

river anvil
#

i cant get professional help either

empty canopy
#

ah

#

there are online sessions you can do

sand goblet
#

yeah, they're fully booked

empty canopy
#

(although i never got help from professionals)

river anvil
#

my social anxiety is so bad i cant even talk to people about myself intimately

#

like not even online

#

i get sweaty and nervous

sand goblet
#

Well, that's okay

empty canopy
#

i basically just have a bad case of OCD but im not organized or anything. i just obsess about my thoughts and theres way too many of those for me to think about and be stable

sand goblet
#

and I think that in particular is something people get used to

river anvil
#

its not something i cant get help with like in your case

sand goblet
#

yeah, I getcha

#

I know people with OCD

river anvil
#

but its something thats hard to get help with

empty canopy
#

@river anvil if it makes u feel better ive never shaken somebodies hand (surprised i got my job lmao) because i have a confition called hyperhydrosis that makes my hands sweat really badly uncontrollably

river anvil
#

i dont wanna upset anyone but i feel like i have ocd because i just cannot talk to people

empty canopy
#

i mean OCD comes in MANY forms

sand goblet
#

I have kind of an insensitive question

empty canopy
#

personally for me, my mind races all the time and i bite my nails

sand goblet
#

:P

empty canopy
#

ask it

river anvil
#

for who

empty canopy
#

im in an open mood

sand goblet
#

do you go through a lot of mice?

empty canopy
#

no actually

#

ive had my G502 for like 10 months now

#

and its fine

sand goblet
#

Well that's longer than most of my mice last

#

xD

empty canopy
#

the scroll wheel is a bit wonky on the infinite scroll

river anvil
#

ive had my mouse for like 2 years

empty canopy
#

but its fine otherwise

rough sapphire
#

I've had an MX518 for a long time

river anvil
#

its a really bad mouse too

empty canopy
#

im thinking of getting that grab grip you were tlaking about in ot0 @sand goblet

#

have you gotten your hands on it before?

sand goblet
#

the vertical mouse? I quite like it

empty canopy
#

yeah

#

ive seen reviews

sand goblet
#

it's my first day using it

empty canopy
#

theyre all surprisingly positive

rough sapphire
#

it's the best mouse i've ever owned. now retails for like £70, and i bought it for £17

sand goblet
#

ask me again in a couple weeks

empty canopy
#

do you notice anything with your wrist?

sand goblet
#

yes

#

less strain

empty canopy
#

wow

#

i might be interested in that

#

how much was it

#

90?

sand goblet
#

€35

empty canopy
#

uh

#

oh

sand goblet
#

forgot I don't have a compose key at work

#

lol

empty canopy
#

damn so like 50$ here

#

thats not bad

#

oh only 40

#

i might buy it rn tbh

sand goblet
#

I mean I went into a brick and mortar store and picked it up

river anvil
#

do you have one of those fancy standing desks?

sand goblet
#

might be cheaper or worse online

#

no

river anvil
#

at work

#

aw

empty canopy
#

@river anvil at work i do

#

ill show u it

sand goblet
#

by the way

empty canopy
#

got all 5 presets set for my mood

#

😉

sand goblet
#

this thing takes two AAA batteries

#

and it does not come with them

empty canopy
#

....

sand goblet
#

just be aware of that

empty canopy
#

its wireless?

sand goblet
#

yes

river anvil
#

i dont have a desk at all but i have this loft bed thingy i dont use that i put my laptop on when i want to stand around

sand goblet
#

there is a wired one too though

empty canopy
#

oh

#

ill get wired

#

@river anvil my desk is being held up by a tv stand and 4 books rn

river anvil
#

wired mouse anime

sand goblet
#

anyway, to wrap up what I was saying before

empty canopy
#

at home

sand goblet
#

the things people usually ask me

river anvil
#

my house is tiny

sand goblet
#

am I doing better right now? yes

stark prawn
#

Wireless has gotten pretty much indistinguishable for the average person.

river anvil
#

by tiny i mean its not a house lol

sand goblet
#

am I improving? I have no idea

empty canopy
#

at work i work in an "incubator" type deal. there are 4 startups there. the othe r3 are blockchain puking

river anvil
#

its freakin small

sand goblet
#

would I rejoin staff if offered? again, I have no idea

river anvil
#

so i have to make do with what i got

empty canopy
#

@stark prawn im a wired type of guy

#

dunno why

#

dont have to worry about connectivity issues or batteries ig

sand goblet
#

yeah I prefer wired

river anvil
#

my room is about the same size as me heightwise

sand goblet
#

if you guys want to ask me anything by the way, just shoot whenever, I'm a pretty open guy

river anvil
#

but my couch which is where i sleep is like a foot shorter than that

empty canopy
#

i just got a pair of headphones from amazon for a good price and they come w an aux cord which i didnt think they would but im so happy they did

river anvil
#

@sand goblet anything?

empty canopy
#

i can wear them wirelessly at work so i dont have to have my phone distract me

sand goblet
#

yup

stark prawn
#

I can't stand in mine

empty canopy
#

@stark prawn same at home

#

got Void Pros

river anvil
#

how tall are you grote?

stark prawn
#

My bedroom is 165cm

empty canopy
#

i feel like thats short

stark prawn
#

It is

sand goblet
#

it's incredibly low

empty canopy
#

um

#

wow

#

...

#

how tf

sand goblet
#

my head would be brushing the doorframe

empty canopy
#

how tall are you??

#

i wouldnt be able to stand up straight

#

thats 5'3 ft

sand goblet
#

oh, is it?

empty canopy
#

im 5'9

#

yeah

sand goblet
#

then yeah I couldn't stand too

#

I'm around 5'11

empty canopy
#

oh actually

#

i grew an inch

#

been a few years

river anvil
#

i think im around 5'9

empty canopy
#

but i thappened

stark prawn
#

I'm 189cm

empty canopy
#

so 5'10 now woop

#

Grote wyd bro..

#

do you live in the attic?

#

or r u harry potter

#

under the stairs

sand goblet
#

lol

stark prawn
#

Only my bed and some storage is there

empty canopy
#

is it a closet...?

sand goblet
#

oh god

#

you just reminded me

#

of the room my ex has

stark prawn
glass gorge
#

Does she have a closet too?

sand goblet
#

No, she has like

empty canopy
#

ah

#

its a loft type deal

sand goblet
#

She has a small-medium sized room with a wardrobe and a little storage, and an ensuite

#

small desk

#

but

empty canopy
#

thats unfortunate

#

@stark prawn how old r u if u dont mind me asking?

sand goblet
#

it's a tall room, going up to the peak of the roof

stark prawn
#

25

sand goblet
#

the weird thing is

empty canopy
#

get an apartment bruh

sand goblet
#

above her bed, you can see into another room

empty canopy
#

that thing is way to small to live

glass gorge
#

uuuh

sand goblet
#

like there's a few feet close to the celing

glass gorge
#

im not quite following

stark prawn
#

That's just where I sleep

empty canopy
#

fair enough

#

my old room was like that to me

sand goblet
#

it turns out, that room is storage

empty canopy
#

just had a bed, tv, and dresser

sand goblet
#

it has a bookcase in it

#

in order to get there, she has to climb a ladder into a hole halfway up the wall, which leads to a crawlspace to get up to the bookcase

glass gorge
#

Ugh don't remind me i have to start looking for an apartment grumpchib

stark prawn
#

Others elsewhere in the building don't have that place. So I have a lot more room due to not having a bed down here

sand goblet
#

it's the weirdest design I've ever seen

#

and her dad is a control freak and won't let her get any storage so she has to actually use that bookcase

empty canopy
#

@glass gorge same

glass gorge
#

Weird g

empty canopy
#

boston so expensive tho

glass gorge
#

How much is rent?

empty canopy
#

on avg?

#

studio for 2k

sand goblet
#

I could not deal with that crawlspace

#

:P

empty canopy
#

i make 50k a year and im only 18 so like

#

need to save for life shit

#

lmao

sand goblet
#

but she's a big girl, bigger than me, and she has no trouble with it

empty canopy
#

not enough to be dropping 2k a month on rent

sand goblet
#

so maybe I'm just claustrophobic

empty canopy
#

i am too

#

i hate tight spaces

#

my room is huge

#

for being in the basement

#

of a 2 bedroom

glass gorge
#

how big are the apartments?

sand goblet
glass gorge
#

like squaremeters

sand goblet
#

mandatory song

empty canopy
#

not pluggin my twitter

#

just my room

#

i could not live in a cramped environment

sand goblet
#

I'm thinking when my django site is functional I should make a blog post about this whole thing

#

then I don't have to keep explaining it

empty canopy
#

@sand goblet can i ask u an ontopic question?

sand goblet
#

Sure

stark prawn
#

27m2

glass gorge
#

Here in bergen you can get a 10-15 squaremeter apartments for ~5000 nok

empty canopy
#

Is django frontend as well?

sand goblet
#

It does templating

empty canopy
#

is flask?

glass gorge
#

!wolf 5000nok in $

royal lakeBOT
empty canopy
#

we use flask for our backend

sand goblet
#

flask also does templating

glass gorge
#

:(

empty canopy
#

but react for our frontend

glass gorge
#

!wolf p 5000 nok in usd

sand goblet
#

well, flask actually uses jinja by default

royal lakeBOT
glass gorge
#

ok wolfram

#

ok.

empty canopy
#

which i get because im guessing flask is pretty limited onweb gui?

sand goblet
#

there's no JS component to these things, they just serve files

empty canopy
#

yeah

stark prawn
#

!wa 5000 nok toe usd

sand goblet
#

or, well, html

empty canopy
#

so everything is pretty static right?

sand goblet
#

I mean, to a point

empty canopy
#

yeah

stark prawn
#

Yeh autocorrect

empty canopy
#

you could have an API

#

and updating html

#

but like

river anvil
#

python is typing

sand goblet
#

you can make a dynamic site with no JS at all

glass gorge
#

575$ a month for 10-15 square m

royal lakeBOT
empty canopy
#

@glass gorge wheres that

glass gorge
#

Bergen

#

Norway

sand goblet
#

like you can have your login system and blog posts and stuff

#

but it's all server-side, you'd be navigating pages, no JS

#

that stuff is your responsibility

glass gorge
#

$1200 for 50-70 square m

sand goblet
#

there are some really nice appartments in town here

glass gorge
#

but i dont think they are central

empty canopy
#

ah i see

stark prawn
#

Would you get any government support?

glass gorge
sand goblet
#

they go for something like 270 eur/week

#

which I thought was reasonable

glass gorge
#

boi that embed is bid

sand goblet
#

but rent allowance here is around 270/month

#

so I guess not

glass gorge
#

I can borrow up to 100,000nok and about half is converted to stipend if i graduate

#

I believe that's how it works.

#

Lemme double check, cause ive never actually had to do that

stark prawn
#

I get about 1/3rd of my rent from support. Only way it's really affordable. Work one day a week next to school

empty canopy
#

i ended up working right out of high school

sand goblet
#

well I make about 260/week

empty canopy
#

well took me ~9 months to land a job

sand goblet
#

so there is nowhere I could rent here

empty canopy
#

but im happy where im at now

sand goblet
#

supplement or not

empty canopy
#

with not college degree

#

its like crazy rare

#

everybody i work with is 25+ and im like...

glass gorge
#

it's 50,000nok every 6 months, and 40% is converted to a stipend if you pass your courses

empty canopy
#

3 MIT grads and 2 Cornell grads

sand goblet
#

I'd have to go to the import store and buy 10KG bags of rice

stark prawn
#

Wait lists were crazy long though

empty canopy
#

@glass gorge you get paid to go to school?

stark prawn
#

Unless you wanna go private sector

empty canopy
#

i have dual citizen ship in the UK

glass gorge
#

Gov funds stuff

empty canopy
#

i could go to college for free

#

lmao

stark prawn
#

But those are so high priced and there's no support

river anvil
#

college doesnt sound much fun

empty canopy
#

@river anvil thats why i didnt go lmfao

glass gorge
#

Student loans with no rents until you graduate, there's a few extra payments you can get, and 40% of the loan is removed basically if you graduate

river anvil
#

i think id only do it if i needed a degree

stark prawn
#

College is so much better than highschool.

empty canopy
#

luckily its 2019

#

and degrees aint shit

glass gorge
#

Uni also costs what.. $50 a semester

stark prawn
#

Doing something actually interesting

river anvil
#

what

sand goblet
#

people say degrees ain't shit but all the companies here want them

stark prawn
river anvil
#

not where im at

empty canopy
#

@stark prawn you know whats better?

river anvil
#

$50?

stark prawn
#

It's 2k a year for me

river anvil
#

where the heck do you get $50

sand goblet
#

heck I saw an ad for a mcdonalds job recently in my area

empty canopy
#

getting to sit on your computer at eork everyday, do whatever u want as long as u get some tickets and bugs pushed, and get paid massive money

sand goblet
#

even they wanted a damn degree

glass gorge
#

It's basically free to attend university here, but you have to pay a few fees, probably to cover expenses

empty canopy
#

okay boys

#

off to the train

sand goblet
#

o/

river anvil
#

where do you live

glass gorge
#

Norway

river anvil
#

damn i dont speak whatever language is there

stark prawn
#

McDonald's here wants mostly pre-uni kids

glass gorge
#

^

sand goblet
#

they wouldn't get away with that here

#

not allowed

glass gorge
#

how come

sand goblet
#

age discrimination

glass gorge
#

¯_(ツ)_/¯

#

Not saying the specifically target pre uni, but ... it's what works there

#

Cause who else would apply to mcd

sand goblet
#

mcdonalds here are mostly staffed by immigrants, etc

glass gorge
#

oof

#

Can't say the same

sand goblet
#

I mean, it's nothing to complain about, they're all pretty great

#

a lot of people think mcdonalds is terrible, but in Ireland their standards tend to be pretty good

glass gorge
#

I did see an ad for mcd "offering the experience in a good work environment to improve your resume"

#

or something in that area

#

Standards are pretty good here as well

#

At least ingredient wise, can't always say the same for the people making it

sand goblet
#

they put in the giant touchscreen order things here recently

#

I both hate and love them

glass gorge
#

Same, those are amaze

sand goblet
#

I love them because they're fun and don't make mistakes

#

I hate them because holy shit are they unhygeinic

glass gorge
#

I love them for ordering specific things, but i still go to the cashier if i just want a simple cheeseburger

sand goblet
#

they still have front of house staff here, but there is no visible till

glass gorge
#

There are quite a few more unhygenic things you touch throughout your day

stark prawn
#

Pre uni kids are basically smart enough to figure stuff out without them having to do a ton of training

glass gorge
#

fair point

#

I would, honestly probably work at a fastfood joint

#

if i didn't have my "wallmart" job up until i quit very recently

sand goblet
#

but yeah, mcdonalds here are mostly staffed by non-natives, burger king on the other hand is exactly the opposite

glass gorge
#

They're pretty similar here

sand goblet
#

I like BK's food better but their staff isn't as nice

glass gorge
#

:(

#

Local BK also got those touchscreens

sand goblet
#

but then again, if you want serious fast food in ireland

#

you don't go to either of those places

glass gorge
#

But what i really want here

vapid bluff
#

that's a good point i hadnt considered much re the hygiene of those screens

glass gorge
#

is MAX burgers

#

man those are good

vapid bluff
#

wonder how hard itd be to make a cheap germ proof screen

sand goblet
#

the golden standard of fast food in Ireland is somewhere you've probably not heard of

#

eddie rockets

glass gorge
#

never heard of

#

I always enjoyed food from BigBite when i needed lunch at work

#

Basically subway, but better and cheaper

sand goblet
glass gorge
#
  • always had cute girls working there 😇
sand goblet
#

haha, always a plus

#

that's eddie rockets there, american-style classic diner

#

Irish company

glass gorge
#

I need to find a diner of sorts that sell good cheap ish burgers

sand goblet
#

amazing food, amazing staff

glass gorge
#

Not as cheap as mcd, but not restaurant price either

sand goblet
#

and they do takeout as well ofc

glass gorge
#

Neat

sand goblet
#

I would say ER straddles that line

#

but it's worth noting

#

Ireland is expensive

glass gorge
#

Like I can get a godlike burger (which they call the hangover burger) here for 150 or so nok

#

~€15

sand goblet
#

that's like 15 euro

#

yeah

#

ER is cheaper than that

glass gorge
#

while mcd cheeseburgers are 20kr, ~€2

#

so something for €5-10 would be swell

sand goblet
#

an ER cheeseburger is around €9

glass gorge
#

but then again, idm the expense of €15 for that burger

#

is great

#
  • cheap student beers
sand goblet
#

:P

glass gorge
#

not that i drink much beer

sand goblet
#

ER has beer, but it's not a popular order, because they have shakes

glass gorge
#

The yeast makes me gassy :(

sand goblet
#

I got an oreo shake last time I went to ER

glass gorge
#

Ah, can't have shakes grumpchib

sand goblet
#

it's basically like drinking ice-cream

glass gorge
#

Lactose intolerant

sand goblet
#

ah, fair enough

glass gorge
#

I think..

#

Honestly dont know

#

So many things say yes, so many others say no

sand goblet
#

Sounds tricky

glass gorge
#

Raw milk, 💥

#

soups 🆗

#

some yoghurts 💥

#

It's a weird place to be

rough sapphire
#

That sounds like milk protien intolerance, not the latose.

glass gorge
#

Most things made with milk are fine, but any milk specific products are bad

#

Huh~

#

Have no heard of that

rough sapphire
#

yeah. my youngest has been on special milk, since its not the sugars he's intolerant of, but the protein.

#

He was ok with processed foods containing milk, as the protiens broke down, but anything with unprocessed milk would upset his system.

glass gorge
#

Hmmm

#

The signs might manifest as a skin rash ...

#

Maybe that explains my recent ... outbrakes

rough sapphire
#

isn't Celiac disease similar?

glass gorge
#

I though they were allergic reactions

#

so i switched to perfume free detergents etc, but haven't really noticed any difference

rough sapphire
#

intolerances are similar but not the same as allergies, iirc.

#

but i'm no medical expert!

glass gorge
#

Hmm, i got an appointment with my doc tomorrow

#

might as well ask

#

I have introduced a new breakfast into my diet, which is yoghurt and musli.

#

Never really eaten that before

#

Could be it GWqlabsGarThink

rough sapphire
#

Food Diary will answer that.

#

basically write down what you consume and when, and then write down what symptoms you get and when...

#

it should help you isolate the causes... then you can look at what is in the things you are eating to work out specifically what the cause it.

glass gorge
#

effort grumpchib

rough sapphire
#

I was asked to do it, since I suspected I had IBS...

glass gorge
#

But fair point

rough sapphire
#

I did it and found no correlation... until I considered how the day had gone personally.

#

I found I have stress induced IBS. No specific food triggers it, but if I'm experiencing high stress and I eat, i get 'triggered'

glass gorge
#

Huh

#

Don't think I get anything stress related at least

#

Im pretty relaxed

waxen jay
#

I like python and I cannot lie

rough sapphire
#

you other lang-uag-es can't deny

#

when a block walks in, with all that white-space...

glass gorge
#

Can one have a mild case of milk protein intolerance ?

sand goblet
#

I'd imagine so

glass gorge
#

cause these symptoms seem extreme

#

My only issue with it is bloating, gassyness etc

#

and maybe mild itchy rashes

#

maybe

sand goblet
#

I don't think any intolerances are all or nothing

#

Everyone is different

waxen jay
#

how can I become a moderator on this server

glass gorge
#

First become a helper.

waxen jay
#

how can I become a helper on this server

#

how can I become an event handler on this server

tame terrace
#

dude.

#

okay

#

event handlers are selected from the pool of helpers when they agree to take responsibility for one of our ongoing events, such as the Advent of Code or our most recent event, Lovefest

#

Moderators are selected from our helper pool as well, and is a very very difficult role to attain. We're very rarely hiring into those ranks, and we only hire people who have made extraordinary contributions to the community, often for a long time.

waxen jay
#

oh

tame terrace
#

Helpers are nominated by our staff, and then voted on internally

#

to be nominated, you should be a skilled Python developer who spends a lot of time helping out in our help channels, who always keeps a level and calm demeanor, and who never gets into trouble.

#

our helpers very rarely have even a single infraction -- that includes warnings.

waxen jay
#

feelsbadman

#

will winning a codejam give me an edge?

tame terrace
#

not really? has nothing to do with being on the staff.

waxen jay
#

I see

tame terrace
#

you might get to meet some staff members by joining our events, though, and I guess that couldn't hurt.

#

but it's a "you don't call us, we call you" kind of deal.

waxen jay
#

oh well, at least I can still abuse the bot, right?

empty canopy
#

hi

sand goblet
#

hey man, bots have feelings too

tame terrace
#

we've only got ~50 staff members and there's 14000 people here so you can do the maths yourself.

glass gorge
#

Poor @royal lake doesn't like being abused :(

waxen jay
#

;(

tame terrace
#

there's a limit to our patience when it comes to abusing the bot. I recommend you just try to enjoy this community the way it was intended.

#

it might look nice with a fancy color on your nickname but it's a lot of work to be a staff member here, more than you might think.

waxen jay
#

that's true I suppose

sand goblet
#

A lot of moving parts go into a community this big

tame terrace
#

yeah. it really doesn't run itself.

#

you can't even see half the channels on this server

#

and most of those are related to running the community

tame terrace

107 text channels god damn.

#

a lot of those are code jam team channels though.

glass gorge
#

ey 1000 online, neat number 🤠

tame terrace
#

I don't know what "admin conference" means in this context but no, staff meetings are staff only.

I was a janitor at Valve, that should make me qualified?

glass gorge

What's your end goal here?

at Valve I recently got demoted to intern from my job as janitor

#

“It’s about calling on those in power to take notice that the majority of people in Northern Ireland voted to remain in the EU.

For the past 2 weeks ive been linting our frontend

empty canopy

^

glass gorge

and have to lay it out myself

empty canopy
#

how i feel at 4:59

glass gorge

and design the code structure and all that

#

Basically from nothing

#

Lots of head scratching given i jumped into this with moderate JS knowledge, and had to learn React, redux, auth0, jest, enzyme and probably more to come

empty canopy

same

#

i actually still dont know react

#

thank GOD for VSCode plugins and ESLint

#

all 3 of our frontends are react

with like

a LOT of code

glass gorge

lel

#

oh and lets not forget typescript

#

it been educational non the less

empty canopy
#

@glass gorge isnt typescript just ecmascript?

#

which is just javascript?

#

like i still dont get it

#

why cant they be simple like python

glass gorge
#

typescript just enforces types and later compiles it to normal js

#

from what i understand

empty canopy

ah okay

#

too much for 1 language

#

lmao

glass gorge

¯_(ツ)_/¯

It's nice imo

You get a lot better suggestions, and it tells you more consistently when theres mistakes in the code

Yeah js linting is amazing

compared to pylint lmao

glass gorge

I did something more toda

ive been productive 👏

@glass gorge i work professionally as a QA Automation engineer it's fun but so easy

river anvil

@empty canopy nice, i was fast asleep when you sent that but thanks for holding up your end!

vestal briar
#

@empty canopy Using pylint to essentially provide a log of any errors before production

#

Basically to be professional and (hopefully) catch syntax errors as an extra failsafe

empty canopy

@river anvil ofc i told you i would! lol

#

@vestal briar ah okay, well ive honestly not customized pylint at all and im sure its totally different than ESLint

though I do currently use onenote for my D&D campaign it annoys me intermittently when it doesn't want to let information OUT of itself

summer rampart

make your own app and code the feature you really want :3

heavy jackal

I already have too many projects than I know what to do with. The top of that list is an NPC generator.

#

the feature creep fought me and the feature creep won

river anvil
#

npc generator?

#

i always save my ideas for projects and dont do them until i have an empty slot

heavy jackal
#

Man. I can't find it now. When I was trying to pick a new note-taking software there was one that came up... it was designed around being efficient and had an extremely minimal interface. You just had like, the title/search bar. You'd start typing terms and matches would come up, and if there were no matches it was already the title of a new note for you to fill out. So you'd end up just jamming everything in there like an extension of your own memory. I decided not to take it up because I wanted something with more structure.

#

it was kinda dated.

river anvil
#

notepad++?

heavy jackal
#

No, that's good, but something else. Anyway about the NPC generator

#

I want it to basically construct reasonable, believable characters that are 100% valid and complete within the ruleset that I choose (I like Pathfinder, so it would be written for that). It would probably start with 3d6, 6, times, in order, and then just simulate out a basic life for them so they'd have a net worth, an amount of STUFF that they'd own (that players could kill them for), and they'd gain a class and all that

river anvil
#

uhh yikes

#

you should write down your ideas

heavy jackal
#

I do.

river anvil

instead of hopping on board them

okay

I have a design document.

Not very.

river anvil

yea this doesnt sound like a very beginner friendly project

yea i got lucky with my first project idea

well first i decided to take on fully

its fairly simple
