you can take a look at the variable by doing
echo $PATH
you will get something like
/usr/bin:/usr/sbin.....
and either put your thing there
or
edit your /home/.bashrc and add
export PATH=/home/quesamo/mydriver:$PATH
to it

after that you will have to restart bash so it takes effect

It's the pattern for n = 3

I highlighted the top "triangle" and greyed out the bottom smaller triangle

I noticed that the area of the triangle expands in a way related to the square of n because you can rearrange the triangle so that it forms a square of side n

then the bottom triangle is the same triangle without the bottom row

the bottom row is 2*n - 1

#

so subtract that from n^2 to get the area of the bottom part

I quickly tried a bunch of random stuff. A recursive like situation, thinking only about what's added each time, thinking about it as a square that's tilted 45 degrees, breaking it up into 4 triangles
