On a semi related note, I’ve been taking E for over a year, and have learned that it is significantly harder to put on muscle (duh), but it’s also significantly easier to stay at a certain weight without doing anything special

Anyway, my system is more or less built around 4k gaming (hence the 4080). I realize the monitors listed there are not 4k, I have two Samsung Odyssey G70B's now. So that's more or less the motivation behind the 4080. As far as RAM and CPU performance, games are slowly taking advantage of mutli-core performance, and it isn't hard to fathom multithreaded applications where I'm taking advantage of a reasonable amount of that core count. If I was better at programming, I could likely utilize this CPU to great effect.

At the end of the day, computer building is as much of a hobby to me as any hobby would be to another person.
