so the menu will continually show until you chose to type 4 to exit

the do while can also be the basis for game loops and such, do this until this certain condition is met

so with the old school snake game they used do loops for changing the position of the snakes movement because you only had to tap the direction key... so the snake would continually increment it's place on the screen until another direction was typed
