What was the question?
Control flow versus dataflow, and you wanted to combine the two
fascinating
it's okay. If you feel like you may be a victim of a combinatorical explosion, report to the nearest infirmary.
You were using the common trope of all Turing-complete languages being able to compute the same function, which is like saying any set of wire lengths can connect the same circuits.
Let's say you have an algorithm which adds two numbers but 1% of the time incurs a division by zero error. Is that better or worse than an algorithm which adds two numbers in twice the time?
exactly
Do I get error catching?

Those PDP-11 keyboards were for the proles. The ruling class were given a much greater style of upright piano covers on which I would like to join you in a kickstarter endeavor.
I want to make a Kickstarter for an unpright piano cover which will allow anyone with an upright piano to cover it with tablets, but then I realized I needed a program to convert upright piano dimensions to a plastic cover which can hold various sizes of tablets.

@graceful grail I mean, raw_input() doesn't exist in 3 and input() was essentially the same as eval in 2

I mean, I can talk. Gimme a sec
i can give you pointers in C, but not in python 🙂

SQL ( (listen) S-Q-L, "sequel"; Structured Query Language) is a domain-specific language used in programming and designed for managing data held in a relational database management system (RDBMS), or for stream processing in a relational data stream management system (RDSMS)....
PostgreSQL
PostgreSQL evolved from the Ingres project at the University of California, Berkeley. In 1982, the leader of the Ingres team, Michael Stonebraker, left Berkeley to make a proprietary version of Ingres.[14] He returned to Berkeley in 1985, and began a post-Ingres project to address the problems with contemporary database systems that had become increasingly clear during the early 1980s. He won the Turing Award in 2014 for these and other projects,[21] and techniques pioneered in them.

how can I convert nfiti files to dicom files with python?
what's a nfiti file and dicom file?
@short ore
I've never heard of something as obscure as nfiti and dicom files. And a quick search didn't help either but if you really need to write it in python:
attach a 3rd party converter that you can find on the web for this and invoke the command from python using subprocess for example
NFITI files are 3D files taken from Lung CT images. I am working on a project related to Corona Virus. For this, I need to convert NFITI files with (.nii) extension to DICOM files.
You need to get a spec document of how those files are setup and them map the relevant data together.

There are two sorted arrays nums1 and nums2 of size m and n respectively.
Find the median of the two sorted arrays. The overall run time complexity should be O(log (m+n)).
You may assume nums1 and nums2 cannot be both empty.
Example 1:
nums1 = [1, 3]
nums2 = [2]
The median is 2.0
Example 2:
nums1 = [1, 2]
nums2 = [3, 4]
The median is (2 + 3)/2 = 2.5

Discord has support for Markdown, which allows you to post code with full syntax highlighting. Please use these whenever you paste code, as this helps improve the legibility and makes it easier for us to help you.
To do this, use the following method:
```python
print('Hello world!')
```
Note:
• These are backticks, not quotes. Backticks can usually be found on the tilde key.
• You can also use py as the language instead of python
• The language must be on the first line next to the backticks with no space between them
This will result in the following:
print('Hello world!')

Hello Everyone!
I am new here...
A good friend of mine, whom I knew on Python Tutor, informed me today about this Discord server, and the changes made on Python Tutor Website
I am a Software Developer enthusiast!
And I am currently practicing and improving my skills in Python Lang...
I will like some advice on how to develop my skills, in truly understanding the language, and becoming more professional in the coding language.
And I will also like to ask, if there are tutorials on here, that I could participate in. Maybe Video conferences, where I could join at a particular time (I am from the UK, so my time is GMT), to learn the language from scratch; and develop my skills?
Please, do feel free to DM or ping me at @austere linden for advice, or for useful information.
Thank You! 🙂

the question?
Median of both arrays combined?
Type here
What are you trying to do
I cant understand code
I can understand logic kek
There are two sorted arrays nums1 and nums2 of size m and n respectively.
Find the median of the two sorted arrays. The overall run time complexity should be O(log (m+n)).
You may assume nums1 and nums2 cannot be both empty.
Example 1:

The median is 2.0
Example 2:

The median is (2 + 3)/2 = 2.5
kek
Do you know about time complexity?

Its not about time
Its about number of steps

hey i am stuck somewhere if you will be able to help, It's related to context

I have hardtime understanding inner workings of context

Yo anyone know a good 2d engine that uses python for scripting?
Guess I'm gonna have to write my own goddamn engine in C#
Anyone wants to play ai dungeon
Godot is a 2D and 3D, cross-platform, free and open-source game engine released under the MIT license.
@whole bear
But Godot kinda sucks, seeing how poorly their render and physics engine is
Nope
What about pygame
No game engine will ever run on python tbh, python is too slow for that
Well, it isn't a 3d game engine
It is barely a 2d rendering engine
I dunno I'm not on voice
There are loads of them
Unity is quite good at 2d yeah
Yo anyone know a good 2d engine that uses python for scripting?
There's also UE4 Paper2d, but it is a bit like killing a bird with a bazooka
Yeah, I haven't used it yet.
I made a car in unity
Which goes straight, so if there's any bump on the surface it will jump upwards and move straight
No falling down
Well, that's still a good start

What's up friends
def snail(A, B, H):
x = 1
H = H-A
while True:
H = H+B
H = H-A
x+=1
if H<=0:
return x
the error given by the website is that it is too slow
not sure how to speed it up
def snail(A, B, H):
ans = (H - A) // (A - B)
if (H - A) % (A - B) != 0:
ans += 1
ans += 1
return ans
even this is too slow
snail(A,B,H) would be:
A = It can climb this far in one day
B = Slides down during the night
H = Total height of the pole
snail(2,1,5) will return 4
def snail(A, B, H):
return 1 + ((H - A) // (A - B) + ((H - A) % (A - B)))
A pile of arithmetic operations like that should be incredibly fast
h = H-A
n = A-B
Return (h / n) + 1

the sort of crime he was stopping was like people dumping toxic waste in lakes and shit
in the 80/90's US environmental regulations were shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit
so i think it was very much a moral show for kids like "hey, stop dumping toxic waste in rivers else you'll fuck up all the fish"
Alright?
i can't do voice-chat
