I'm new to Python, So i want to learn it but without vids because it's not easy to use for learning
where i can found someone who can learn me ?
We don't provide direct tutoring, but there's a bunch of stuff on the site you can use to help you
!t resources
It can be difficult to know where to begin when you are first starting out with Python. On our website, we have compiled a list of both free and paid resources that we recommend for learning and mastering Python.
It is hard to say exactly where you should start, as everyone will have a different prefered method of learning, but whether you like video tutorials, books or courses, you should find a suitable resource on our resources page
Ok thanks

You guys should be using the off-topic channels if there's nobody on voice :P
Hey guyz ๐

It's pretty weird that you guys send messages here when there's nobody on voice
Start using it correctly please, before we lock it down a bit
did you read the last message in this channel?

my goal is to learn python as much as I can from people rather than being a lone coder ( I find I end up loosing my ability otherwise)

!t zip
The zip function allows you to iterate through multiple iterables simultaneously. It joins the iterables together, almost like a zipper, so that each new element is a tuple with one element from each iterable.
letters = 'abc'
numbers = [1, 2, 3]
# zip(letters, numbers) --> [('a', 1), ('b', 2), ('c', 3)]
for letter, number in zip(letters, numbers):
print(letter, number)
The zip() iterator is exhausted after the length of the shortest iterable is exceeded. If you would like to retain the other values, consider using itertools.zip_longest.
For more information on zip, please refer to the official documentation.

WOW
In Python, there are several ways to do string interpolation, including using %s's and by using the + operator to concatenate strings together. However, because some of these methods offer poor readability and require typecasting to prevent errors, you should for the most part be using a feature called format strings.
In Python 3.6 or later, we can use f-strings like this:
snake = "Pythons"
print(f"{snake} are some of the largest snakes in the world")
In earlier versions of Python or in projects where backwards compatibility is very important, use str.format() like this:
snake = "Pythons"
# With str.format() you can either use indexes
print("{0} are some of the largest snakes in the world".format(snake))
# Or keyword arguments
print("{family} are some of the largest snakes in the world".format(family=snake))
"blah blah %s" % variable
f"blah blah {variable}"
from pathlib import Path
p = Path.cwd() / 'Documents'
print(p)
>>> from pathlib import Path
>>> p = Path.cwd() / 'Documents'
>>> print(p)
C:\Users\goesc\Documents
name = "Bob"
age = 22
address = "some town somewhere"
postal = 5566
print(f"""

Address:

name = "Bob"
age = 22
address = "some town somewhere"
postal = 5566
print(f"""

help
nope i actually need help
psssst
randit -> randint?
randit.randit?
random.randint
thats what i wrote?
haha naw you wrote randit instead of randiNt
ohhh
fix that and qualify the other randint with random.randint and it should run okay
git add
i use jetbrains too but thats because i was told to use their ide
git clone https://github.com..
i find vs code to be too much stuff
also because of this in my rightclick menu
So easy to just open a project
i wanted to focus on learning py instead of fucking around with a editor
mu editor does that very well btw
there is a lot of stuff in there. it'll take me years to learn the chords properly
import random

wtf
im doing this tomorrow im drunk
on line 12, just change randint to random.randint ๐
Rip internet
that worked
the import is for the module, rather than the randint function specifically, so you need to specify the namespace that the randint function is in
excellent!
yep yep totally forgot
now you have no need to acquire dice of varying sizes and roll them repeatedly
we do need to fix it from quiting the program after a roll though
it needs a while loop i think
for sure!
ill work it tommorow
and show you when im sober
hopefully you approve lol
of what i came up withj
haha i don't have to approve, have fun with it
โค
No u
