I've had and and attempted to solve this issue myself over multiple installs and machines. When entering shops I'll almost always be missing the art for a couple of cards. Nearly everytime I just exit and re-enter the shop they will reappear. I've always assumed it was a case of me just missing the cards from my cache database but this time I watched to see if any new cards entered the cache when re-checking the shop. I noticed now that aren't any new files entering the cache. This leads me to believe the that the card renderer is just unable to keep up with UI speed of the shop opening? I attempted to run the cmd version with the included -Xmx paramters (and tried much higher mem values as well) but this didn't solve my issue. Any insight on this? This problem persists in other screens like the card rewards screen where it isn't as simple to just refresh the UI.

No images are provided with forge. They are downloaded as requested. What you describe is just the page finish rendering before the images finish downloading. If it's stopped downloading you might have gotten your ip blocked by scryfall.com. check your log to see what it says
