I somewhat recently switched away from Windows, so I'm a bit of a Linux newbie. I tried to look at the FAQ, and all it says is to install Java, though I'm not sure how. Running the "Java --version" command in the terminal comes up with nothing, so it's not installed.
I tried going onto the website listed in set-up guide, which brings me to downloading some tar.gz files, though again I'm not quite sure how to use them.

I saw that, but is the only way to do this to make a whole distrobox, install Java onto that and run Forge in there?
