#Boss castle are no longer visible in NG+

This is my fist go at this game and after while i got a deck good enough to farm boss castles to farm mox and emrakul. I've done 3 full NG+ rotations, starting a NG+, beelining for the castles and beating Emrakul. But now they are no longer visible in the world (their icon is still on the map).

Someone told me to do the main quest line in a NG+ to make them appear again but when i start a game either i chose the first option to plain the main quest but I'm stuck because the quest giver wont speak to me (only says welcome planeswalker) and the portal to reach the surface is not working, or I choose the last option that skips the intro and main quest but then I can't do the main quest to restore my world.

Is there something I could do? I spend hours yesterday going through 1800 shop refresh, I'm a bit invested in this run...

I think this might be the issue where they only appear after saving and reloading. You don't really notice it in a normal game since you tend to do a lot before that point, but if you storm right for the castle, you need to save and reload first.

give quest 43 + give quest 52 spawns the castles
