#Resized window too large, unable to change

I resized the games resolution to the largest and enabled full screen. I didn’t realize the game needed to be restarted for the effects to take place.

However, the game is not full screen and is too larger to reach any kind of menu.

Things I’ve tried:
Changing the resolution of my display to accommodate. The game window just scaled with it, and it was the same as the included screenshot.

Completely starting from a fresh install of the game, using both the tar and installer. The issue persists

Okay. Where did you find window.xml? Was it in Library/Application Support/Forge or in .forge?

#

(I know macOS moderately well but have not run Forge on it.)

Oh, that's not going to be it at all. Try this. Press: Command + Shift + G in Finder, and if it prompts you for the location (it should, unless they changed it in a different macOS version), use ~/Library/Application Support. Go there and look for a Forge folder. (I'm pretty sure that's where it's at.)

#

If there is a Forge folder there, please share a screenshot of the contents of the Forge folder.

Okay, that took me right to the settings.json you were talking about, and the file reflects what I changed it to in game

#

What is the default I should change it to

Awesome, sounds super promising.

#

There are three relevant settings. I would try (one moment):

#

Width, height, and video mode.

Okay I will copy those and start it up

1280, 720, and 720p could work too if it's still too big. I can just never remember those off the top of my head.

Just return to 1280, 720 and set full screen to true, it should change the display to full screen overriding the default width and height values IIRC.
