Soul Foundry bug?

So I don't know if this is a bug or I am just misunderstanding the wording, but I built a deck with these cards and when I used Soul Foundry to print Sowing Mycospawn, I expected at least to trigger the "Search the library for a land card" effect. The kicker effect, I figured might not work, but I don't know if I am missing a ruling on something or if this is a bug regarding the card effect specifically. It worked on other similar effects, creatures who bring back cards from graveyards when played or fetch lands when played. This is the only one in my deck that doesn't trigger like I expected it to.

that's because casting a spell and creating a token are very different things

Yea it would need to be worded like [[Isochron Scepter]] to do what you want

Indeed. Soul Foundry does not 'cast' the imprinted creature spell. It merely puts a copy onto the battlefield. This will trigger "When this creature enters" triggers, so you're better off looking for that wording.
