According to the rulings for this card, it should not be able to transform if it is not a double-faced permanent (such as a Token.) That is not how that seems to work in Forge, however, as dealing lethal damage to the opponent will they have a copy will cause it to transform. (The copy was given to the opponent with [[Fractured Identity]])
