So I am trying to find a way of getting this to work with my M2 Mac. When ever I get to terminal I end up getting an error in it "Error: Unable to access jarfile forge-gui-desktop-1.6.63-SNAPSHOT-jar-with-dependencies.jar"

I also attempted to get this working with Crossover but still am having challenges. For example, I installed Java on cross over then proceeded to install Forge. Forge will open up the small loading screen go through multiple loading bars but the actual main game wont open.

Any advice?

This is most likely a permissions issue. Does it work if you move the Forge directory somewhere else (to your home directory for example)? If nothing else works, you might need to give Terminal "Full Disk Access" (only recommended if you know what you're doing).

Crossover is overkill, as Forge should run on any Mac that has Java.

Thanks Wasabi. The issue seems to be when I put the extracted dowloaded folder into a new folder ie "MTG Forge". It can't locate it causing an error. If I leave the extracted folder on my Desktop it seems to be working.

Thanks again!
