Aeries respawn weird, apparently

So I had to clear an aerie for a quest, and outside everything regen'd like normal. Inside all the enemies were there, but none of the loot on the floors respawned UNTIL I got ot the top (seen from the outside) where it all respawned. It also considered it cleared after I killed the outside enemies and like 2 or 3 enemies inside.

Currently clear quests don't take into account submaps so you should only have to clear the outside part
