I cast [[!Scheming Fence]] targeting Helm of the Hosts. I'm aware that a scheming fence can't gain an equip ability, but it still should have turned off the equipment's ability to activate its equip ability (and then equip to Godo and infinite samurai smack me.)
For the record I am talking about the equip activated ability, not the equipment's static or triggered ability. Helm of the Hosts was not yet equiped to Godo when I dropped scheming fence.
