#Players Locked when Testing Decks in Deck Editor

I'm trying to test a commander deck with way more than 15 cards in the sideboard. This results in the game preventing players from finishing or quitting a match after the first game. I feel like deck size limits should be eliminated in test mode.
Personally, I use the sideboard for keeping track of cards that might be useful to consider for the deck later instead of how it's actually used competitively. Is there a better way for me to do something like this?
