Oblivion Ring does not return exiled permanent

I cast [[Anointed Procession]] which later is exiled by AI casting [[Oblivion Ring]]. I remove that ring with my [[Cast Out]] and procession stays in exile (shouldn't it be returned since ring left the battlefield?)
