As title says, the game simply will not let me pay 2 life and 1GW to cast him. The "auto" is greyed out.
And yes, I do get the prompt to click on my life. I do it and it's still greyed out. Impossible to cast.
Just tested again, seems to only happen when I'm at 3 lands?

Auto being grayed out just means the engine doesn't know how to do it

The auto button never tries to reenable itself halfway into a cost. So even though at this point of the screenshot it might be able to figure it out, it doesn't try

Click your lands to produce mana

#

So, click the spell, select your portrait to pay 2 life, then click each land you want to tap for mana
