I have a handful of questions regarding a fictional character with a Chinese background who comes from a Chinese-made video game, though I don’t want to immediately open with those questions because I want to know if anybody is willing to discuss this topic with me, or if such a topic is even allowed as a serious question. I have tagged this question as off-topic since my questions have less to do about language and more to do about culture.
#I would like to ask a nerdy question.

Don't ask to ask, just ask. Culture realated stuff isn't off topic.
Apologies. I have crippling anxiety
The relevant game in question is Arknights (明日方舟), and the character in question is Waai Fu (槐琥). The first thing I am wondering about is her clothing. I have tried to do research on Chinese clothing, both modern and historical, but sometimes it is difficult to tell what kinds of clothing count as which, especially if they’re stylized in major or minor ways
There is also the aspect that the place that Waai Fu comes from in-lore is Lungmen, which is a city that is analogous to Hong Kong, which primarily uses the Cantonese language, so I am assuming that Canton culture is relevant
Here is the character in question
The way the clothing splits at the hips reminds me of a Qipao, except this version is less form-fitting and more flexible
But what would her clothing be called if you asked someone from China?
If you can help, or know somebody who can help, I’d appreciate it
The bottoms is like 束脚裤? Not a very Chinese thing I think.
Maybe you can search the character in cosplay communities.
Yes, the trousers are very modern. The game does take place in a science fiction / fantasy world
I will try, thank you
The cloth hanging between legs is called 蔽膝bi4xi1

Also, this character practices a specific style of martial art. In-lore, it is called 红眉咏春. Based on my research, I don’t believe this style of Wing Chun is real, but I am very bad at doing research, so I wanted to ask if this was a real style or if it’s fictional. If it is the latter, I also want to know what the hung4mei4 part of the name could mean
