I just responded to a friend with “good ol’ Teresa Teng” which is an endearing way of talking about a well known person or thing especially in the U.S. or England but it got me wondering if there is a Chinese similar phrase.
I know sometimes 老 is used to make someone’s name endearing but I think it might be slightly different than that.
Anybody?
