I think that was Will’s acceptance that he and Mike aren’t compatible, he said his crush is “just his Tammy” which was Robin’s crush who was straight and didn’t feel the same way

Mike isn’t Will’s Tammy. They’ve both been friends since childhood, they have shared history, and Will’s feelings for Mike have developed naturally. Robin explained how it was love at first sight for her, how she knew instantly that Tammy was the one, and was reliant on being with Tammy to finally be herself.
I don’t understand why they’ve made Will say the Tammy bit, in the coming out scene. He was only asking Robin, in episode 3, ‘How did you know Vickie wanted to date?’. Which implies he’s considered that aspect with Mike.
Both Will and Mike NEED to chat in ep 8. We need to see Mike’s perspective.

The visions Vecna showed Will of everyone worrying about him, and eventually pushing his friends away lead to him coming out to the whole group. What if this is what Vecna wanted? Will accepting Mike not loving him back and moving on. Will assumes Mike doesn’t love him back, so what if their love for one another is the power that’s needed for Vecna’s downfall.

The fact that episode 7 is getting review bombed so hard it is the lowest rated episode of all time is actually concerning
