i reinstalled w10 ans cannot get the proxy to hook. it is sitting in the bootloader folder next to pol

i have the dx9 runtim and the vc redists

this is where the pol.exe was. i ran the dx9 web installer runtime and re-ran the 2015-2022 redist installer, and found that it tried to hook, but the game would not start. so mayb it is trying now, perhaps my pc is too old (broadwell igpu on mobile chipset)
